How a service visit works
The short answer: You call or book online. We inspect the door and give you an upfront, fixed price. You approve it, we do the repair, then we test everything with you before we leave. Most jobs fall in the $129-$399 range, and you always know the price before work starts. Call (615) 616-0612 to start.
The four steps
- 1
Step 1: Call or book
Call (615) 616-0612 or send the form below. It helps to tell us your address, what the door is doing (stuck halfway, will not close, grinding noise, remote dead), and the door type if you know it. You do not need to diagnose anything. We serve Mount Juliet Monday through Friday 7AM to 7PM and Saturday 8AM to 4PM, with a 24/7 emergency line for doors that are stuck, broken, or unsafe.
- 2
Step 2: Inspection with an upfront price
On site, we go through the door systematically: springs, cables, drums, rollers, hinges, track, opener, and safety sensors. We explain what failed and why, in plain language, and give you a fixed price for the repair. Most jobs fall in the $129-$399 range. You approve the price or you do not; there is no pressure and no obligation.

Step 3: Repair
We do exactly the work you approved. Worn parts come off, correct replacements go on, and the old parts stay with you if you want to see them. We keep the work area tidy and we do not invent additional problems mid-job. If we spot something unrelated that needs attention, we mention it and price it separately; you decide.
- 4
Step 4: Test and walkthrough
Before we leave, we cycle the door through full travel several times, confirm the safety sensors stop and reverse the door, and check your remotes, keypads, and wall button. You operate the door yourself so you can see it working. Payment is due when the job is complete and tested.
What we look at during the inspection
- Springs: torsion and extension springs are checked for gaps, rust, and fatigue. A spring with a visible gap in the coil is broken, full stop.
- Cables and drums: lift cables are checked for fraying at the bottom bracket and the drum, where most failures start.
- Rollers, hinges, and track: worn rollers, cracked hinges, and bent or loose track sections are the usual suspects behind grinding and jerky movement.
- Opener: motor, gear assembly, logic board, and radio receiver. We separate mechanical door problems from opener problems before quoting, because they are different repairs.
- Safety sensors: photo-eyes must be aligned, clean, and wired correctly. A door that will not close is often a sensor problem, not a door problem.
- Balance: with the opener disconnected, a healthy door should stay put halfway and move with one hand. If it slams down or flies up, the springs are wrong for the door.
This is the same inspection whether you are in Langford Farms, Providence, Triple Crown, or anywhere else we serve. See the full list on our service areas page, or browse all services.
